Recorded Books

With more than 1,100 titles available, including the Holy Bible and Pimsleur foreign language instruction, you are sure to find something you will enjoy. And just like regular books these titles check out for 21 days and are renewable. Up to ten titles can be checked out at one time.

To begin using these books you must simply come in to the library and create a NetLibrary account. Once an account has been created, you can begin to enjoy hundreds of great titles from the comfort of your own home simply by coming to this page and clicking the Recorded Books logo or by browsing directly to www.netlibrary.com/RecordedBooks and following the prompts to login and access the audio book collection. For additional help and information check out our Audiobooks FAQ page or download or Audiobooks QuickStart Guide.

Download OverDrive popular fiction and nonfiction ebooks and audiobooks onto your home computer and onto many PDA devices.

Use your library card to check out titles. Titles check out for 21 days and are renewable just like regular books. Additionally holds can be placed on titles currently checked out to other patrons.

To begin you must have both the free OverDrive Media Console and free Windows Media Player software on your computer before downloading the audiobook. The newest versions of this software can be found on the Metronet Online Lending Library website by clicking on the Software Downloads link on the right hand side of the page.

*At this time audiobooks require the use of Windows Media player and thus are not playable on iPods. Check out this list of recommended MP3 players to help ensure that your device is compatible with our audiobook selections.
