What do the Friends do?
The Friends are a group of people who help our library by volunteering, fundraising, and trying to make a difference. We use the money that we raise to purchase extra things for the library that are not included in the library's budget.
Book Sales
We hold 3 book sale fundraising events per year: Spring Book Sale, Fall Book Sale, Holiday Book Sale. See our Calendar for dates and times.

How the Friends Help
We try to purchase "extras" for our library that aren't in the budget. The library staff prepares a wishlist twice a year for the Friends to consider. The Friends have recently provided:
- Children, Teen, and Adult programs
- Battle of the Books and Teen Art Show
- Children's Literacy Education Computers
- Display Cases
- Bike Racks
- Wireless Hotspots
- Computers and Mobile Computer Cart
- Summer Reading Program
Who are the Friends?
Anyone that wants to join and support our library! We're really just a fun group that's always looking for new volunteers. We currently have over 250 members. Our board meets monthly on the second Thursday.
