STOCK THE STACKS!

The Friends of the Independence Township Library would like to rally the community to help build the library's collections.  Due to loss of revenues the library's budget for new materials was cut by 25% in 2011, but library usage remans high.  For every $25 you donate to the 2011 Stock the Stacks campaign, your name will be added to a bookplate in a new item being added to the library's collection.  To sweeten the deal, the Friends will match each $25 donation, so you will be recognized is a second new library item until the Friends reach a total contribution of $5000.  Together with Stock the Stacks donors, the Friends hope to provide an additional $10000 worth of new library materials by the end of the year.
